PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This oil blends well with Geranium, Grapefruit, Tea Tree, Lemon, and Lavender.
The peppermint plant is a hybrid of water mint and spearmint and was first described by Carl Linnaeus in 1753. A high menthol content—like that found in the Peppermint essential oil—distinguishes the best quality Peppermint oil from other products. Frequently used in toothpaste and chewing gum for oral hygiene, Peppermint oil also helps soothe and warm sore muscles. Peppermint oil continues to be one of the best-selling favorites among essential oils but it is best to use it short term only.
- Use a drop of Peppermint oil with 1 drop of Lemon oil in 1 ounce of water for a healthy, refreshing mouth rinse, then spit it out.
- Place 1 drop of Peppermint essential oil in the palm of hand with one drop Wild Orange oil and 4 drops of carrier oil, inhale for stimulation of the mind
